Rita Ora and Wiz Khalifa Debut New Song ‘Religion’
In anticipation of her upcoming album, Rita Ora launched a U.S. tour earlier this week. On Wednesday, she stopped at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles for a sold-out show in front of friends including Meghan Trainor and Jim Belushi. Dressed in a sheer purple top with pasties covering her breasts, she opened her 50-minute set with “R.I.P.” and served up hits including “Black Widow” and “I Will Never Let You Down.”
She also took the opportunity to debut new tracks off her upcoming album including “Champagne Lights” and “Religion.”
The smell of weed was thick as her rumored boyfriend Wiz Khalifa appeared onstage to spit his verse on the latter, which includes the lyrics, “You don’t have to make decisions right now … But tonight you’ll be on your knees, making me your religion.”
After coming down from the high, she debuted her Ed Sheeran-penned love song “Us” and worked in a cover of Drake’s “Hotline Bling” while performing her single “Poison,” closing with the Chris Brown-assisted “Body on Me.”
You can catch Rita on the road through Sept. 17 with upcoming shows in Las Vegas, Atlanta, Boston, and New York.
