Female acts are not united – Seyi Shay

Seyi Shay was on radio yesterday and she spoke about how Nigerian female acts are not united thus making collaborations with her female colleagues difficult.


Excerpt of her interview read:

On future collaborations with other female artists, she says,

‘I really dunno. I wish all the female in the industry were more united [because really] who are we lying to?’
She added,
‘Girls generally have always had a problem with each other worldwide…I don’t understand the psychology behind it’
Inspite of her friction with some of the other female artistes Miss Shay is on a soon-to-be-released song with Yemi Alade, Emma Nyra and Victoria Kimani. Her debut album is set to drop this November.
